Timberwolves take down Eagles 60-49

DAVENPORT — Friday night's girls basketball matchup between Class D-1 No. 8 Exeter-Milligan and Bruning-Davenport/Shickley saw a reversal of fortunes for both teams.

BDS came out in the first half executing its game plan while jumping out to a halftime lead. But the second half belonged to the Timberwolves as Exeter-Milligan prevailed 60-49 in front of a packed house at the Davenport gymnasium.

The Timberwolves rallied after trailing 31-24 at halftime, using a 13-2 run to open the third quarter and take a 37-33 lead. The Timberwolves continued with the momentum, holding a 43-39 advantage entering the final quarter.
