Tigers drop final home dual
Going up against unbeaten York, the Hastings High wrestling team wasn't able to pick up the win in its final home dual of the season.
But, despite the 45-30 loss, HHS head coach Brian Laux was proud of his team's effort against York, especially his seniors in their final home matches.
"I'm very happy for our seniors because they wrestled with courage," Laux said.
On senior night, two of the Tigers' three seniors won their matches. At 113 pounds, Brandon Kile pinned his opponent in the first period. At 120 pounds, Marcos Estrada won by a 9-7 decision.
