"We played pretty well at times. We did some good things, we tried to make some adjustments during the game to what they were doing on defense," said Kenesaw head coach Jack Einrem, whose team improved to 7-8.
"They were sagging in on our posts, so we tried to make some adjustments, and we did. We did some good things after that. We went to a half-court trap instead of full court and it seemed to shut them down a little bit. They weren't getting very good looks at the basket."
The Blue Devils defense allowed only 29 shots on the night compared to their 58 attempts. Franklin (0-12) shot 55 percent inside the arc, but the Kenesaw defense reduced its shot attempts through a full-court and half-court trap defense.
