St. Cecilia runs past Lincoln Christian

A couple long scoring streaks helped boost the St. Cecilia girls basketball team to a 46-28 win past the Lincoln Christian Crusaders in a Centennial Conference Basketball Tournament game Tuesday night.

The Hawkettes went on a few scoring runs early, including a 13-point run at the end of the second quarter to give St. Cecilia a 15-point lead going into the half.

"I thought that run at the end of the first half was a big run," St. Cecilia head coach Jahn Kile said. "It really set the tone."
