Minden to vote Sept. 10 on $26 million school bond issue

MINDEN — Members of the Minden Board of Education moved forward Tuesday with asking district patrons to pay $26 million to replace what they see as an out-of-date high school.

The resolution for a bond issue was passed, as was the special election date of Sept. 10, with minimal discussion.

"We're hoping we have the support and we can get it passed for a high school," board member Ken Carpenter said after the meeting.
