District has $250,000 left for improvements

With about $250,000 left in the high school improvement bond, the Hastings Board of Education is now considering options for the use of the money.

During Thursday's board work session, finance director Jeff Schneider presented the board with a list of options as recommended by staff.

The top three suggestions were remodeling the main office to meet security needs, remodeling bathrooms on the second floor and remodeling the boys and girls locker rooms.
