Monday was a busy day at the Adams County Fairgrounds as hundreds of open class entries made their way into the Activities Building.
"We usually have anywhere from 350 to 400 entrants," said Robin Stroot, who has been the open class superintendent for the last eight years. "It depends on the year.
Sometimes garden and flower entries will be down, depending on whether we had a storm. Sometimes, they will be up depending on the weather.
"That's what I love about open class because you never know what you're going to get and how many."
