DESHLER — Jeremy Voss has hit the ground running since arriving here in January to work as director of the Thayer County Economic Development Alliance.

The U.S. Army veteran who was injured during combat in Iraq has led efforts in Thayer County to provide housing options for families and financial support for businesses.

"He's just been fantastic," said Deshler Mayor Naomi Grupe, a member of the Thayer County Economic Development Alliance Board of Directors. "He's done so many things in such a short time. He has good ideas, a wonderful vision, and I can't say enough good things about him personally."
