of the 4-H Therapeutic Horse Show during the Adams County
Fair Thursday.

Walking over a bridge, weaving in and out of poles, backing the horse up and stopping at a mailbox, 13-year-old Rachel Mieth of Glenvil demonstrated the skills she had learned through the summer.

Youth with intellectual and physical disabilities showcased their horse riding skills during the short obstacle course Thursday at the therapeutic horse show at the Adams County Fairgrounds. Each participant had his or her horse led by a volunteer and some had side walkers to provide additional assistance, if needed.

Rachel enjoys being in the program because she likes riding horses.
