The visit Clay Center Police Chief Dee Wilkerson and Clay County Sheriff Jeff Franklin made to Bill and Sharon Kenley has become a blur, Sharon said.
Wilkerson and Franklin visited the Kenleys 10 years ago to let them know their lost daughter, Traci, had been found.
Friends Traci Kenley, 28, and William “Bill” Rundle, 25, went missing late Aug. 17, 2000, in Rundle’s black 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with Nebraska license plate 14-B954.
“We wanted to find them and we wanted closure, but then when you do it’s sad, too,” Sharon said.
