Central Plains League all-stars play Monday night at Duncan Field.

On Monday, the eve of the Major League Baseball All-Star game, the Central Plains League all-stars made the trek to Duncan Field for their own contest.

The South team defended its crown, thanks in large part to a five-run fourth inning, defeating the North 9-6.

"The kids were looking forward to it. We had a lot of good ball players," said South coach Jim Hild. "I really enjoyed it."
