Sutton starts 2-0 at state

O'NEILL — After competing in two games of the Class C American Legion state baseball tournament, Sutton is on the right path to claim its third straight title.

Sutton went 2-0 over the weekend, advancing one win away from another finals appearance.

Sutton defeated host O'Neill 16-0 in its opening game Saturday. On Sunday, the defense propelled Sutton to a 1-0 victory over Malcolm after cutting down a potential tying run at the plate late in the game.
