Supervisors act quickly to replace bad AC unit

The Adams County Board of Supervisors took immediate action Tuesday to replace an air conditioning unit that is "on its very last leg."

At Tuesday's meeting, Supervisor Scott Thomsen urged other board members to approve an estimate of $57,500 for a new 30-ton cooling system at the Adams County Office Building.

"We are having some major issues with it," Thomsen said. "It's on its very last leg. It is old and it needs replaced."
