Tom Hastings says the state high school rodeo keeps returning to the Adams County Fairgrounds because it's a win-win situation for everyone involved.
"The high school rodeo has been here for a number of years," said Hastings, president of the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce. "I know from talking to contestants throughout the years about how much they enjoy coming to the community of Hastings.
"It's a two-way street. They love the location, they like the venue, how well it's run. The community, on the other side, embraces them."
This marks the 11th year the fairgrounds has been the site of the event, which kicks off Thursday.
