Community members were awed by the sight of the new Russ’s Market store unveiled this morning.
Featuring a new cafe area with mezzanine seating and expanded departments throughout, Mayor Vern Powers described it as an incredible day.
“This is a large-city store here in our town,” he said during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. “This project will last for years and years. It’s a great addition to our city.”
The new building includes about 48,500 square feet of space, including the mezzanine. The old store had about 23,000 square feet of space.
