Tuesday at Duncan Field.

The Johnson Imperial Homes American Legion baseball team won both games of its doubleheader Tuesday.

JIH emerged victorious 3-1 over North Platte in game one despite totaling just one hit. In the nightcap, Hastings opened the game with an 11-run first inning en route to a 15-3 win.

Tuesday may have been a tale of two very different games, but at the end of the day, it still resulted in two wins for Johnson Imperial Homes.

"(The 11-run inning) got us going after only getting one hit in the first game. You would like to see us keep scoring runs and not slow down, but their pitchers, give them credit, they had a couple guys who came in and threw strikes," said JIH coach Russ Kindig. "That 11-run inning, we'll always take that."
