Sutton too much for Geneva

Sutton's Brody Yost pitches against Geneva Thursday night
in Geneva.

GENEVA — Sutton starting pitcher Brody Yost gave up just one hit and struck out 12 of 18 batters, but it the team's bats that stole the show against Geneva.

Sutton had four home runs, including a pair of two-run rockets by Derek Bailey, to down Geneva 14-0 in five innings on Thursday night.

"That's probably the best game of my life offensively," said Bailey, who had a single to go along with his two homers. "I had good cuts and got my pitch both times, and I lined it pretty good."
