At this time last year, Josh Hinrichs was competing in his second Adams County Open after just graduating from Hastings High.
For Hinrichs, the third time was the charm.
Hinrichs won this weekend’s Adams County Open, becoming the third different champion in three years — a first for the event since 2008.
“It was really good. I felt great. It was a nice day, and I hit the ball great,” Hinrichs said. “I had a couple iffy shots, a couple iffy putts, but, other than that, it was fun.”
