KENESAW — It was just two years ago that the Kenesaw wrestling team featured a pair of state finalists, in Daniel and Stephen Duffy. Daniel captured the 182-pound state championship while Stephen fell in the 170-pound finals.
This year, another Duffy will be featured in the Blue Devils lineup, sophomore Sean Duffy. Duffy was a big part of the Kenesaw football team’s success by leading the team in tackles, and he’s hoping to translate that success to the mat. Duffy is expected to wrestle at 170 pounds.
Also wrestling for the Blue Devils is Nicholas Keuhn and Trevor Keuhn, with Nicholas projected to fill the 120 slot and Trevor fitting in at 132.
The Blue Devils are coached by Mike Pritchard, who is going into his fifth year at the helm. Kenesaw is scheduled to start its season Saturday at the Harvard invite.
