Rollover on Highway 6 injures five

Five people were injured Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 6 between Holstein and Wanda avenues.

Tazzirae Hartsock, 19, of Hastings was driving the 2000 Oldsmobile Alero and was trapped inside and had to be extricated by firefighters.

“The roof of the car was pretty much flattened down so it was difficult to get to her without causing further injury,” Hastings Fire Chief Kent Gilbert said. Firefighters from Hastings, Kenesaw and Holstein provided assistance at the scene.
