Emergency
notification providers to change
RED CLOUD — Several area counties are in the process of switching emergency notification systems following the buyout of a company that offered the service.
According to a Jan. 9 news release from Emergency Communications Network, provider of CodeRED, it acquired Jacosoft, the provider of DeltAlert emergency and mass notification solutions.
As part of the agreement, ECN acquired all of Jacosoft's intellectual property and technical resources.
