With more snow expected, chill to remain in air

As is obvious from Friday morning's snow, spring hasn't sprung just yet in Hastings.

And with up to 5 inches more of damp white stuff in the forecast between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning, it appears Punxsutawney Phil and Sir Thomas Hastings were more than a little off with their predictions of an early spring.

Owen Wilson, owner of Kitty's Roadhouse restaurant, has been hosting forecasts by Hastings' own stuffed groundhog each Groundhog Day at the restaurant since 2011. He readily concedes his road-kill prognosticator wasn't even close in his prediction this time around.
