Estimates show Adams County population all-time high

Adams County’s population hit a new all-time population high in 2013, according to estimates released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

The county grew by an estimated 246 people since the 2010 Census to a total of 31,610. The county lost 122 people in 2011, but gained 176 in 2012 and 219 in 2013.

Adams County was one of 31 counties in Nebraska to increase population in the latest estimates.
