Scott Rosno doesn't get much time off these days.
In the fall, he's the head coach of the Hastings High cross country team. When it switches to winter, he's the CEO of the Tiger boys basketball team. This season, he'll add a third job — girls head track coach.
The track season started the same day as Hastings' last boys basketball game in the district tournament. After a loss, Rosno put on a new hat and was in charge of track squad the next day.
Rosno is taking over for Ben Welsch, who will continue to serve as a math teacher in Hastings Public Schools. His decision to step down was to take care of a growing family and pursue educational job opportunities, according to Rosno.
"It was a tough decision for him, but I think he it was a decision he knew he had to make," he said.
