After finishing the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships in 16th place for the men and 12th for the women, the Hastings College track and field teams began their outdoor season Saturday at home, hosting York and Doane College.
The Broncos had many top finishes, national qualifiers and a broken record at Saturday’s competition.
“Overall, it went all right with it being a triangular meet just with Doane and York here,” said Hastings College head coach Ryan Mahoney. “It’s a meet, but it’s kind of a glorified practice. It’s a good chance to get outside and compete.”
