ROSELAND — An Internet talk show host, a lifetime Husker football season ticket holder, a makeup artist to the stars and a lottery winner are just a few of the predicted futures for the Silver Lake class of 2013.

The 21 graduates were honored with the presentation of scholarships, stories of their 13 years of education and predictions for their future at the commencement ceremony here Sunday.

The first half of the graduation ceremony was dominated by the graduates themselves, who, in addition to predicting the future, reflected on the last 13 years of school, sharing stories of everything from the perils of freshman year to the joys of elementary school.

"Elementary was the life," said graduate Sydney Meyer. "We didn't worry about what would happen tomorrow or about the future. We didn't have a care in the world and all we wanted to do was have fun."
