Back and running

A doll rests in a pile of debris a mile north of Sutton where a
home was leveled Sunday afternoon as storms blew through

the home, took shelter at a neighbor's during the storm.

SUTTON — Following a week of cleanup after a tornado caused extensive damage in town, Brown's Thrift Store is ready to open today.

The grocery store on the south end of downtown Sutton didn't even have power until Wednesday morning.

"When I first saw everything I didn't know how long it was going to be," store owner Mark Brown said about opening. "It's like 'OK, is it going to be a month?' We've got contractors in here working. We're going to be at least able to open up in a week. That's a miracle."
