For most eight-man football players, there's always a little adjustment when moving up to the 11-man game.
Tyler Schnitzler is looking to benefit from that experience right now.
The Kenesaw graduate, who signed a letter-of-intent to compete for NCAA Division II University of Nebraska at Kearney in the fall, will become the first Blue Devil to compete in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl Classic since Travis Sidders did it in 1991.
The game is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at UNK's Foster Field.
Schnitzler said this week of practice with the South team has been an eye opening experience, but he's looking at it as a way to get better in the game.
