I hail from Southern California from a family of four brothers, two sisters, a mother and father. Aside from three years of social work and five years of workers' compensation insurance adjusting, journalism has been my vocation since high school. I once played bass and sang in a Christian rock band in my 20s and have always enjoyed singing for fun. Here at the Tribune, I'm a jack of all trades. I write, take pictures, and even do a little play-by-play on the side. Dull moments are few and far between.
