The Heartland Pet Connection will host its second annual “Chocolate A’Fur” Saturday, with expanded offerings from the inaugural event last year.
“It’s bigger than last year and better than last year, I would say. We’ve added another winery, we’ve enlarged the menu, we’ve moved to a larger venue,” said Lynn Jasnoch, director of the animal shelter. “Our silent and large auction packages are really great. There’s something for everybody.”
A Chocolate A’Fur will be Saturday, 7-11 p.m. at the Quality Hotel and Convention Center, 2205 Osborne Drive East.
Tickets may be purchased at the Heartland Pet Connection, 1807 W. J Street; Five Points Bank, 2815 Osborne Drive West and two other locations in Hastings; or Redline Pharmacy, 401 W. 33rd St. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door, but the shelter would like to know attendance numbers in advance for food and wine orders.
Call the shelter at 402-462-7387 for more information.
