Isaac Aguilar struggled against his stroller restraints as he tried to reach the Plexiglas case housing a wolf and fox exhibit.
“Puppies,” the 2-year-old said excitedly.
His mother, Kaylee Aguilar of Hastings, had to loosen the straps to allow Isaac to put his hands against the case for a closer view of the animals. Passing by exhibits featuring various animals, Isaac continued to declare each a puppy.
“He thinks everything is a puppy,” Kaylee said. “We should have brought him sooner.”
This was Isaac’s first trip to the Hastings Museum of Natural & Cultural History on Thursday with his 3-month-old sister, Nevaeh.
Hastings Sunrise Rotary made the visit possible by sponsoring a free night at the museum. This is the third year the Rotary has participated in the event. |
