On a day when most kids are dressed as their favorite superhero, princess or animal, one group of Hastings students was wearing a different sort of costume.
The annual Saints Parade was held at St. Michael's Elementary Wednesday giving students the chance to dress as their favorite saints.
"Tomorrow is the feast of saints, All Saints Day, which is a holy day of obligation," said Sister M. Hedwig Kortte, the school's principal, Wednesday.
The students have their pick of any of the Catholic saints, of which there are thousands.
