Upland woman changes plea in Buffalo County prostitution case
The 35-year-old Upland woman accused of prostituting her 14-year-old and 7-year-old daughters could face 90 years in prison if she receives the maximum penalty.
The woman pleaded no contest Friday in Buffalo County District Court to charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree sexual assault of a child and two counts of child pornography possession.
The woman’s name is being withheld by the Tribune to protect the identity of the two daughters.
She is accused of agreeing to charge an undercover officer $150-$200 for sex acts with herself and her 14-year-old daughter.
The investigation started with a personal ad on Craigslist offering female companionship in the Kearney area.
