Local liaisons answer questions on health care

Glitches on the Affordable Health Care website continue to confound those attempting to sign up for the program locally.

Presenters from Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska and AARP Nebraska listened to concerned citizens express frustrations with the online sign-up page during an informational meeting at Hastings Public Library Wednesday afternoon.

And while presenters Heidi Zoellner, ACA certified instructor for the state of Nebraska, and Mark Intermill, advocacy director at AARPN, extended a helping hand to the 16 people who attended the informational meeting, both said they could relate to the frustrations expressed by some in attendance.
