The 35-year-old Upland woman accused of prostituting her 14-year-old and 7-year-old daughters took a plea deal Thursday to state child pornography charges to avoid federal charges.
The woman pleaded no contest Thursday to charges in Franklin County District Court and Furnas County District Court. Her name is being withheld by the Tribune to protect the identity of the two daughters.
In Franklin County, where she had lived, she pleaded no contest to five counts of generating visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct, two counts of exploitation of a minor for sex, and two counts of child abuse. She pleaded no contest in Furnas County to conspiracy to commit first-degree sexual assault of a child.
