Hot 'n cold
A mix of record high and freezing temperatures will give Tribland residents some extreme weather challenges to bear this weekend.
Those looking to engage in outdoor activities ahead of the cold front that blows in tonight likely will enjoy pleasant temperatures throughout the day in Hastings, with a projected record-high of 74 degrees during daylight hours, said Jeremy Wesely, meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Hastings.
If realized, the projected high will topple the previous record of 72 degrees set in 1909 and duplicated in 1949, Wesely said.
