About 20 mentors and mentees from Big Brothers Big Sisters and Teammates spent an active day playing games and watching football during the inaugural Bronco Mash-Up event Saturday at Hastings College.

Hosted by HC students as a class project, the event was organized to give volunteers from the two mentoring programs a free and fun way to spend time with their little brothers and sisters. Following a morning of carnival-type game-playing that included football, bean bag, and ping pong ball toss, obstacle course, face painting, and other games, participants enjoyed lunch in the school cafeteria before heading to Lloyd Wilson Field to watch the Broncos football game.
