Finalists chosen for District 15 renaming
Then there were three.
The list of potential names for Adams Central's District 15 elementary school has been narrowed from the 22 submissions to three: Adams Central 15 Elementary, Adams Central East Elementary and Adams Central Sunrise Elementary.
AC 15 principal Lonnie Abbott updated Adams Central Board of Education members about the progression of the name change as part of his principal's report during the board's regular November meeting Monday evening.
Abbott and the school's parent/teacher organization gave students, parents and patrons the opportunity to suggest new names for the school.
