Adams Central discusses middle school concept

The Adams Central Board of Education agreed Monday that it needs to research the financial impact and other details of a proposed move toward creating a middle school for sixth-, seventh- and eight-graders.

On Monday, the board met in a special work session to discuss what a middle school concept could mean for the district in terms of cost, implementation and benefits to students.

"When this middle school concept came up, I know Mr. Barrett said, 'If it's done well, it's a great concept,' " board member Chad Trausch said of Principal Dave Barrett.
