Teens tasted new fruity drinks and tested their general trivia knowledge Sunday during the “Mocktails and Trivia” event at the Hastings Public Library.
Participants sampled cola and juice drinks of the non-alcoholic variety, such as the Chinese Firebolt, Cosmo-Not, margarita, mojito and appletini. Instructions for some of the drinks had been found on the Internet and others were drink mixes.
The teens also strained their brains with two 20-question quizzes covering a variety of topics, including history, geography, nursery rhymes and youth books such as “Harry Potter” and “Hunger Games.”
Sunday’s event was the latest activity organized by the Hastings Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board.
