BLUE HILL — After what Blue Hill football coach Scott Porter called an "ugly" first half of play in the opening round of the Class C-2 playoffs Thursday afternoon against the Kimball Longhorns, his message to the Bobcat squad during intermission was simple:
"Just come out and do their jobs and execute. We're going to be all right," Porter said. "We needed to finish our drives and continue to take care of the ball while containing (Kimball runningback Jonathon) Withrow on defense."
After a scoreless first half, the Bobcats (8-1) responded with a dominant second half to claim a 21-6 victory.
