Big plays fuel STC victory

HERSHEY — Neither St. Cecilia's nor Hershey's offense had anything going at the start of their Class C-2 state playoff second round matchup on Wednesday.

Each of the school's first offensive drives ended in turnovers, previewing what was an ugly first half that saw a combined eight punts and eight penalties.

With 1:59 left before the halftime break, St. Cecilia senior fullback Tyler Willnerd finally gave the scoreboard some life. He received the handoff on a trap play, found a cutback lane and raced 65 yards for a touchdown.
