Hastings, Nebraska resident, Amy L. Krueger, 63, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings.
Memorial services are 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover. There will be no viewing or visitation as Amy was cremated. Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.
Amy was born December 5, 1955, in Central City, Nebraska to Wayne and Margaret (Greek) Nielsen. She graduated from Central City High School and attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Amy married Tom Krueger on May 8, 1982 in Valentine, Nebraska. They moved to Hastings from Fremont in 1986.
Amy worked in sales at Jacobi's Carpet One and was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was an avid nature lover who enjoyed camping, feeding birds and squirrels. Amy was always up for an adventure. She was very passionate about rescuing dogs.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Chris Nielsen.
Survivors include husband, Tom Krueger of Hastings; daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Andris Didrichsons of Lincoln; grandchildren, Emma Didrichsons and Kalvis Didrichsons; sisters, Janet and Ron Covin of Seattle, Washington and Linda Kuhn of Central City; mother-in-law, Alice Krueger of Hastings; nieces, nephews and cousins.
