Fairfield, Nebraska, resident Haley Nicole Bohlen, 31, passed away October 7, 2019 in Fairfield.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at Salem Lutheran Church in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Ethan Feistner officiating. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Sunday with the family present to greet friends at the Salem Lutheran Church in rural Superior. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Superior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the Haley Bohlen Memorial. Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior is in charge of arrangements.

Haley was born on December 29, 1987 in Superior to Dennis and Stacey (Way) Shroyer. She was baptized on April 24, 1988 by Rev. Steven Tjarks and confirmed on October 27, 2002 by Rev. Dan Hayes at Salem Lutheran Church. She was a Superior High School graduate with the class of 2006 and she received her Associate Degree from Central Community College. She was united in marriage to Cody Bohlen on August 6, 2011 at Deweese, Nebraska; this union was blessed with three daughters, Bayleigh, Breckyn and Beckett. Her greatest role was being a mother. She enjoyed riding horses, taking care of her three girls, camping, coaching basketball and her girls’ activities. She also was the director of JB’s Corner Daycare in Fairfield, Nebraska. She was active with the Nuckolls County Fair board, her school activities and 4-H.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Gladys Shroyer; great-grandparents, Milo Way, Mable Grove and Leona Warren; and her aunt, Cheryl (Shroyer) Rothchild.

She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Stacey of Superior; husband, Cody of Fairfield; daughters, Bayleigh Grace, Breckyn Paige and Beckett Layn, all of Fairfield; her brother, Jared and wife Hannah of Superior; grandparents, Dennis (Diane) Way and Sharon (Lathan) Russell also of Superior; in-laws, Ron and Jenise Bohlen of Fairfield; grandparents-in-law, Norbert and Linda Fleck and Joyce Bohlen, all of Hastings; sisters-in-law, Jessie Anderson and husband Brandon of Clay Center, and Kellie Bohlen of Hastings; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
