Blue Hill school names new press box for longtime volunteer

BLUE HILL — Joel Wagoner has been called the epitome of school spirit — which is why it seemed natural for Blue Hill school officials to name the school’s new press box after him.
The big announcement came Friday night during Blue Hill’s football game against Ravenna. The Bobcats won 40-6.
Wagoner said he was not aware that he was going to be honored in that way, and that he was pleased and honored that a sign on the press box would welcome fans to the Joel Wagoner Sports Facility.
“They really surprised me,” he said. “I had no idea.”
