Former senator Bob Kremer dies

LINCOLN — Nebraska politicians are remembering former state Sen. Bob Kremer of Aurora, who died Tuesday at age 77, as a community leader and effective advocate for agriculture.

Kremer died of an apparent heart attack.

Kremer served in the Nebraska Legislature from 1999-2007 and represented District 34, which now includes only Hamilton County in Tribland but also included Clay County and the Doniphan area of Hall County during Kremer's tenure. He was succeeded in the Legislature by Annette Dubas of Fullerton.
