Twins share lives, looks

Joyce Landrigan (left) and her twin sister, Janet Burr, have
attended every Nebraska State Twins Association convention
since its inception in 1986. This year the event will be held in
Hastings this weekend at the Hastings Hotel and Convention

Joyce and Janet have always looked alike.

From their earliest baby photos to today, the two women have 71 years of shared history and shared features to match.

"We never knew anything different than being twins and we were used to being called the Lambrecht twins," Joyce said.

The twin sisters were born in Hastings in July 1942 and have spent the last 71 years sharing lives and looks in the area.
