HHS play opens Friday

Rick, played by Joe Prickett, drives his son Marcus, played
by Nick Howard, and his friend, Lemon, played by Donovan
Hemphill during rehearsal for Hastings High's production of
"Marcus is Walking" Tuesday.

The scene is a familiar one:
A husband and wife get in the car to go to a dinner party.

As they drive along, they soon realize they're lost and that inevitable argument ensues as they try to navigate their way to their final destination.

That's just one of the stories that play out in the course of an hour during "Marcus is Walking," the fall production of the Hastings High Theatre Department.

"Marcus is Walking" performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hastings High School Auditorium, 1100 W. 14th St. Tickets are available at the door.
