With state just around the corner, any competition is good competition for the Adams Central boys tennis team.
The Patriots got just that Tuesday afternoon at the Hastings Utilities courts, as the Patriots faced a solid Holdrege team. Each match was a battle, but the Dusters managed to earn a 6-3 win in the dual.
“It had nothing to with what we did. They changed up their lineup a bit, and we could’ve arranged our lineup so that we could’ve won. But again, we’re trying to prepare for next week,” said head coach Rod Hartman, whose team defeated Holdrege in a dual earlier this season.
