Mike Zimmerman column: Minden offense has plenty of weapons

The keys to becoming a winning volleyball team are simple: Be multiple. Have an all-around cast of players who are solid in hitting, passing, defense and serving.

Class C-1 No. 3 Minden showcases strength in all those areas, but maybe most in its attack. With the ample amount of hitters on the roster, head coach Ed Rowse has a valuable weaponry to utilize night in and night out.

The statistics show that the Whippets (16-1), who have won 11 consecutive matches, including 23-straight games, could have a different player play a key role in any match.
