Deshler volleyball experiencing turnaround
We are already at the halfway point of the fall sports season. By now, it’s safe to say that there is a good idea of which volleyball teams are going to be contenders in the postseason.
And one of those teams is somewhat of a surprise.
Last season, the Deshler Dragons struggled to a 7-18 record.
This season, under a new coach, the team has shown improvement in reaching a record of 9-3.
Al Meier doesn’t want to receive the credit for the team’s success to this point. The coach said he just has a roster of girls who work hard and want to continue to get better.
